Hiya

Any possible way your httpd server could be better than www.lightTPD.net, and support htaccess files?

Apache needs some decent competition, but no other web servers can really come close with just the config options in the default config file

We really do need a webserver other than apache to support .htaccess and many other features!

Thanks

You can specify options in a .hiawatha file in a directory. It's the same as .htaccess, only the filename is different. An ofcourse, in the .hiawatha file, you should use Hiawatha configuration options. No ugly unlogical Apache config stuff.

There are many webservers that are much better then Apache. Hiawatha is one of them. Hiawatha is faster, more secure and easier to configure then Apache.

Can you tell me what features you are looking for?
