Hi there,

Does Hiawatha explicitly deny saving files outside of a virtualhost's webroot directory?

I ask because I'm using a Symphony CMS extension that is supposed to do just this (it accepts an absolute path to a directory), but it's not working so I wanted to check about Hiawatha before I start trying to debug. Thanks.

Operating System: Debian

I forgot to say that I have changed the directory's owner to the webserver user.

Hiawatha can't deny the saving of a file outside the virtual host's webroot if it's done by an application like Symphony CMS. So, no, Hiawatha does not deny it.
