Hello Hugo,

after i got owncloud with webdav running on hiawatha (except for the mirall-offline-sync client), now it doesnt work anymore. As usual i have no idea, what went wrong, so, if you could provide me with some pointer what to check and test i would be more than happy to provide you with details.

Since i did quite some testing i have to say i got owncloud/webdav and hiawatha only running with owncloud 3.0.2 and the hiawatha source you provided for testing under leisink.org. Even the minor upgrade to owncloud 3.0.3 broke webdav access in e.g. dolphin (KDE filemanager).
With owncloud 4 and the very recent hiawatha 8.3 i cant get post install. Basicly i followed the steps i wrote down when testing WebDAVapp support ( http://blogs.fsfe.org/riepernet/?p=155 ). However, it just loads up the install screen and hitting finish results in "Unable to load page".

Could you also have a look at whether the offline-sync client (mirall) works?

thanx a lot for your awesome webserver!

Hiawatha version: 8.3
Operating System: debian squeeze

Owncloud 4 is working for me with Hiawatha 8.3, including the web client (almost perfectly), the windows sync client (in parts), WebDAV (works, but is very slow; mounted as network drive under windows as well) and the linux sync client (in parts).
The linux sync client crashes from time to time and the windows one syncs only in one direction (from pc to Owncloud).
I'm using the settings described in the HOWTO section with some higher values for script execution time and request size.
Do you have any (php-)errors in your error file?

well, i dont know why, but now it works. The webinterface is a bit bumpy, not rendering the content sometimes etc. Webdav upload was quite ok. I connect via KDE/Dolphin and always get a checkbox:
"You are about to log in to the site "..." with username "...", but the website does not require authentication. This may be an attempt to trick you. Is "..." really the site you want to visit?"

After clicking ok, dolphin connects to the webdav ressource. hmmm.. dunno.
I cant check mirall atm.

i think, "ConnectionsPerIP = 10" is also very conservative. system.log holds a lot of connection limit reached entries. I have set that to 50 and also raised ConnectionsTotal, but am not sure whether i summoned pandora with that
