Hello. I put together a basic tutorial for beginners on setting up Hiawatha Web Server on Mac OS X and getting Symphony CMS up and running.

- Part One: Installing Hiawatha Web Server and running Symphony CMS on Mac OS X (5 min) -- [watch [www.screenr.com]]
- Part Two: Installing Hiawatha Web Server and running Symphony CMS on Mac OS X (5 min) -- [watch [www.screenr.com]]
- Part Three: Installing Hiawatha Web Server and running Symphony CMS on Mac OS X (4 min 56 seconds) -- [watch [www.screenr.com]]

Then here are my notes that went along with my Screencast videos... https://gist.github.com/3695826

I've also posted this in the Symphony CMS forum as well, http://getsymphony.com/discuss/thread/92693/

I hope this might be helpful to someone, someday. I'm still learning Hiawatha and looking forward to putting it in production on an Ubuntu Server. I'm a little more hesitant there. I did find a great tutorial from Samiux, http://secure-ubuntu-server.blogspot.com/2012/06/howto-highest-secured-hiawatha-web.html. Maybe he'll do an installing Hiawatha on Ubuntu video tutorial.

I know video tutorials are a huge help for me. I'm a visual learner, so this medium helps me. I figured if there are a few others out there like me, that might benefit from such a tutorial.

I hope it helps.

BZ
