I'll take a look at it tonight.

I just tested it and couldn't find anything. It just works fine. I used Windows7 SP1, 64-bit.

Thanks for looking
I switched back to 8.5 and haven't have any issue.
I have been using Hiawatha under windows intensively for many years, it is the first time I experience an issue with a new version.
I can do some more tests again and send you logs.

I can reproduce the error. just changing the EXEs and DLLs into 8.6 each access to my https site is generating hundreds of PolarSSL errors in the system.log.
Same type of errors as above.

I have installed Hiawatha in c:\Program Files\Hiawatha\ as all other versions
kfft
2 November 2012, 08:19
I don't know if it is expecting PolarSSL related files in any other directory than you might have on your machine

I've updated Cygwin on my computer and rebuilt the Windows package. Please, redownload Hiawatha for Windows and try again.
Hugo Leisink
2 November 2012, 08:23
Do you have Cygwin installed on your computer?
kfft
2 November 2012, 23:34
I have never had cygwin installed but Hiawatha has always worked fine.
The latest version is not even starting the server it seems.
If I run the exe instead of the service it tells me "The program can't start because cyglzma-5.dll is missing"

I've added the dll to this package: http://www.leisink.net/hiawatha-8.6.zip. Please try and let me know.

I loaded the zip with the dll on leisink.net, no more error message about the lzma dll missing but still the same issue with PolarSSL

Great! Can you please test for me if cyglzma-5.dll is required? Temporarily rename or remove it and restart Hiawatha.
kfft
3 November 2012, 19:06
yes it is necessary the service doesn't start without it
In 8.5 it was not necessary
kfft
3 November 2012, 19:08
it is necessary since you've updated Cygwin

5 November 2012, 16:54
Do you need any other information?
