how can I stop the automatic start of hiawatha when booting the system?

Hiawatha version: hiawatha_8.7_amd64.deb
Operating System: LinuxMint13 "Maya" (LTS)

LinuxMint is a Debian / Ubuntu clone, right? In that case, you can use the sysv-rc-conf tool. You can install it via 'sudo apt-get install sysv-rc-conf'.
