Hiawatha version: 9.0
Operating System: 12.04 LTS

Hi Hugo,

Stupid question (don't laugh)... but how do I upgrade Hiawatha? I just installed 9.0 but you said in 9.1 we will be getting dynamic thread pooling, and I also want to be up to date with the latest version.

Thanks Hugo,

Just rebuild the package and install it. That's all.

Questions are never stupid, only certain answers are.

Hiawatha 9.0, which is the latest release, already has a dynamic thread pool. When more threads are needed then available in the thread pool, new ones are created.

I don't remember mentioning 9.1. Where did you read me saying something about 9.1?

@ Samiux

When you mean rebuilt the package that will also remove my configuration to correct? I compile Hiawatha btw.

I've looked through the newsletters, but I can't find anything about 9.1. But it doesn't matter, the dynamic thread pool is available in 9.0

rage10940,

You build the debian package of the new version of Hiawatha by the script provided at the extra directory. Then install the debian package and it will ask you if you want to keep or replace your configure file or not.

If you have doubt, you can refer to this tutorial [secure-ubuntu-server.blogspot.com] which is prepared by me.
