Banshee-mariadb setup error

Hiawatha version: 9.1
Operating System: Arch Linux with fresh mariadb

Ran database/setup_database from /srv/http/banshee gives

Enter MySQL root password: <pword>
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysqli_connect() in /srv/http/banshee/libraries/database/mysqli_connection.php on line 23

Have you read the installation instructions? It's in README.md.

Yes I read it. It was php.ini missing a couple of *.so unhides. Up and running now.
