Hi Hugo,
Firetable ignores settings in config files. But it criticises missing files. The files are readable to all in the default path /etc/firetable
I installed the current http://projects.leisink.net/Firetable/
Firetable 5.2 was working before on RasPi
Firetable version: 5.3 Operating System: Ubuntu 13.10 and RasPi Debian

I can't reproduce the issue. 5.3 works here as expected. Strange that 5.2 works, but 5.3 doesn't. Not much changed in 5.3, specially not not in the configfile-reading part. Are you sure it's not some OS-related issue?

I have it on 2 different OS. Ubuntu 13.10 (intel) and Debian (arm).
Where can I download 5.2 again for a test? There are no debug options at startup?

Hugo, thank you for the great support
Workaround: Users with german os language have change line 746 to ... grep 'inet Adresse' and line 748 to ... grep 'inet6 Adresse' (replace addr to Adresse)
