What is importantance to configure php.ini

Noob question :

What is importantance to configure php.ini with "cgi.fix_pathinfo = 0" and "cgi.rfc2616_headers = 1" as https://www.hiawatha-webserver.org/howto/php_configuration

in kloxo-mr panel without these, and working good

please advice

Hiawatha version: v9.3.1
Operating System: Centos 6 / 64 bit
