Why do you want it to work with Netbeans? Just follow the compile instructions in the README or online HOWTO.

Just read your Banshee website . . . Im very flexible on Netbeans . . . meaning I am open to switch to a usable PHP 'any-good' IDE to run with your banshee without any hassle . . if that makes sense . . . forgot to mention I'm a bit of a newbie to webdev anything!!

thanx in advance!!

A little advice from someone who's been developing software for about 30 years: forget Netbeans and other IDE's. They make you lazy. Use a simple text editor instead. Vim, Notepad++, anything simple. This makes sure you fully understand what's going on. No mystical automatic stuff that might mess up things.

OK . . I hear you . . . Luckily I'm not too deep in yet so I will try out your 'philosphy' . . . BUT def going with Hiawatha and learning banshee !!

Followed installation process outlined in HOW-TO . . Cmake installed perfect . . un-tarred hiawatha-9.5 . . Done mkdir build and then cd build . . .

This next step is problematic . . . ' cmake .. ' Of course without the quotes , it just dont want to work and i tried ALL the variations of cmake . .

Try using 'cmake ..' instead of 'make ..'.

HP-EliteBook-2560p # cd hiawatha-9.5
HP-EliteBook-2560p hiawatha-9.5 # cd build
HP-EliteBook-2560p build # cmake ..
bash: cmake: command not found
HP-EliteBook-2560p build #

Nope . . still not working

I googled but still could not find the answers as I have the related cmake lib-files required

Add the location where the cmake binary is to your PATH.

That's also a solution. Good to hear it works.
