Owncloud - cant make the first setup

for anaother server hiawatha ran fine for an existing installation. now i'm trying to get a new one to work, but i the the error "[2002] SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory"

Hiawatha version: 9.6
Operating System: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

I don't know. Sounds like an ownCloud error message. Maybe something wrong with the directory where ownCloud saves the files? Perhaps the ownCloud developers can help you with this.

found the problem. databse crashed and so it was not possible to get a connection.
