Failover

Hi
I am considering to setup two webservers running latest Hiawatha and FreeBSD as software.
Are there possibilities to get the server to do an load balancing or active/passive failover?
I know things are possible with HAProxy and heartbeat but I would prefer to keep using Hiawatha

Hiawatha's reverse proxy doesn't support load balancing. Maybe in the future, but not at this moment.

Well that is fine on itself, is it possible to configure Hiawatha as a high availability?

What do you mean with that? Hiawatha won't crash, so how can the availability be improved?

Ok but what if the server get's a hardware crash (motherboard dies), I would like to have a failover another server then.
I know there are possibilities but I don't know if we can do it with Hiawatha

Place the website files on a SAN, use multiple (Hiawatha) webservers behind a load balancing reverse proxy. Or have a spare webserver ready when the main webserver fails. But this approach is of course not Hiawatha specific.
