How do I generate an .htpasswd file without having Apache tools installed?

Hi,

Could you please tell me how I can generate an .htpasswd file without having Apache tools installed to be use with Hiawatha ?

You can use the wigwam tool for that. Use the -b option for Basic HTTP authentication and -d for Digest HTTP authentication. See the wigwam (1) manpage for more information.
