Just an FYI, none of Google's Public DNS servers have returned an A record for www.hiawatha-webserver.org for at least a couple of days now. You may wish to look into what's going on with your upstream nameserver (at transip, or so I read).

Already did. They're working just fine.

OK - well, there must be some breakage between them and Google:

root@cerberus:~# nslookup www.hiawatha-webserver.org 8.8.8.8
Server: 8.8.8.8
Address 1: 8.8.8.8 google-public-dns-a.google.com

nslookup: can't resolve 'www.hiawatha-webserver.org': Name or service not known
root@cerberus:~# nslookup www.hiawatha-webserver.org 8.8.4.4
Server: 8.8.4.4
Address 1: 8.8.4.4 google-public-dns-b.google.com

nslookup: can't resolve 'www.hiawatha-webserver.org': Name or service not known

Can we expect it to be fixed? I am happy with Google's DNS service and it is annoying fiddle with the settings for one site.

For those interested in, openDNS resolves properly. I added 208.67.222.222 as 3rd on my PC. Final solution will be changing it in the router so that my tablet and handy could also connect via wifi (Vodafone 3G worked normally).

I confirmed that Google Public DNS is broken for Hiawatha website. I need to change the DNS setting in order to go to here.

My ISP told me they filed a bug report and said Google will fix it within a week.

@Hugo,

I think it is not the Google problem. Maybe your ISP problem.

Why I say that? When I set my DNS to Comodo public DNS (NS1: 8.26.56.26, NS2: 8.20.247.20), I still cannot go here. Until I set the DNS to OpenDNS.
