Typically the OPTIONS method is not a method that you want to enable for a web server - I understand. However, if using Hiawatha as a reverse proxy there may be some scenarios where it is needed for example: Outlook Web Access or other ActiveSync type web services. I recently ran into this road block and was wondering if it would be possible to add the OPTIONS method back into Hiawatha or if there is some other way around this limitation. Thanks!

I have no idea what to do with the OPTIONS method. In reverse proxy mode, the OPTIONS request is also forwarded.

I'm seeing a 501 in the logs instead of a 200 on the OPTIONS request. I appreciate your thoughts.

That's because the final webserver doesn't support the OPTIONS request. Hiawatha's reverse proxy forwards every kind of request method.
