Hiawatha and mod_ssl

Hello, the open source software 'osclass' requires mod_ssl to setup the email service to connect to gmail. I have installed mod_ssl and restarted Hiawatha and PHP but no luck. I am still seeing the request to install mod_ssl. Is it possible to use the Apache module mod_ssl with Hiawatha? Is there an alternative to mod_ssl for Hiawatha?

Thank you!

Hiawatha has native support for SSL. mod_ssl is an Apache-only thing, so that won't work with any other piece of software.

Thank you emails are working now after following your instructions for the https bindings. The mod_ssl error persists but the email system is working as expected. Between you and I it was most likely working before but now I have https enabled, which is a good thing. Thank you! Your work is much appreciated.
