I am able to block GET requests based on certain User-Agent string, using

Header User-Agent ^denydenydenyuseragentstring DenyAccess

to block user agent 'denydenydenyuseragentstring'. But this does not work for a POST request. Is there any way to block POST requests?

The Header option doesn't look at the request method, so POST requests should also be blocked via this. Just tested it. It works as intended.
