I did a simple update (debian machine), and now Hiawatha throws the following error when a user attempts to browser to web interface for Argus (http://argus.tcp4me.com/):

192.168.x.x|Wed 10 Feb 2016 13:47:54 -0600|/var/www/hiawatha/arguscgi|ERROR: could not connect to argusd on unix socket '/var/argus/control': Connection refused
192.168.x.x|Wed 10 Feb 2016 13:46:53 -0600|/var/www/hiawatha/arguscgi|[6762] connect to argusd failed (again)

I checked it thinking the issue was on it's side, but logs for argus look good. It's just a monitoring program written in perl, why would this suddenly not work? Digging deeper into this while hoping for a response.

Perhaps the file access rights of some files changed? A unix socket is actually a file on disk. Check its access rights.
