hiawatha very slow compared to apache

hello,

I don-t know why, maybe I the standard config is slow?

apache came 10 times faster with html or php.
tested with apache benchmark
very curious to me..

Hiawatha version: 6.15
Operating System: win xp

Hiawatha is designed for Unix. The windows version is build with Cygwin en should be seen as experimental. Native Windows code is of course faster than using this Cygwin API mapping layer. Cygwin is also not extremly stable, so don't use the windows version of Hiawatha on a production machine (like the download page already said. If you want to have the full speed of Hiawatha, use an Unix OS like Linux or BSD.
