By searching for information how to set 303 and 307 redirection in Hiawatha I found this topic

In short it is said that Hiawatha froces 301 redirecton, and that there is no need for 303 redirection to be set on server itself and that it should be done using application.
I run static web site using html, not application. For specific reasons I have to temporarily redirect part of the site to other address, and I want to turn of redirection later. In apache I would use 303 or 307 redirection for this. It would be good to have such option in Hiawatha.
After all other servers do it.
Forcing 301 redirection is not good as 301 redirection means redirection fo good. It is really hard to change that once started as browsers cache 301 redirects and NEVER tries again. Each visitor has to clear browser cache to turn of redirection. it is practical need to have some softer redirection options within http server itself. Please reconsider.
