Gzip on-the-fly: json

Hello!
I just noticed that hiawatha doesn't compress static json files.
Is just an oversight or is "by design"?

It is 'by design'. The next version will allow you to specify the extensions of the files that need to be compressed. Send me an e-mail if you want to beta-test this next version.
