I'm not too familiar with hiawatha. I know it has reverse proxy feature so it should work behind HAProxy however the ban features can be tricky and not sure if it will ban the HAProxy so was wondering if anyone using it both in production and whether it works fine with ban features? Being in front probably doesn't make much sense with HAProxy but might as well ask if you can explain a situation which it will work well.

Thanks for any info. I tried searching but there seems to be a lack of people using it to determine whether ban features were working or not.

Take a look at the HideProxy setting.
