As a matter of experiment i've set-up an entirely static and local website. This means, images, fonts and what not are served from the machine.

Now i find on multiple occasions the content either loads fast or has wait times.

I'm not at all sure where these waits come from since load on the mahcine is affordable and optimizations have been made where ever possible.

Tools such as https://dnscheck.pingdom.com/#5a253426b7400000 and https://dnscheck.pingdom.com/#5a2534c0a3c00000 provide what i believe is a reliable metric for wait, block etc.

Let me know if you found a reason why
