Things have been quiet about Hiawatha, but I can assure you that the project ain't dead. The main reason is that I've moved to a new house and that required a lot of my time. I've been doing some small bugfixes and improvements, but nothing big yet to justify a new release.

In the meantime, I've been working on my PHP framework called Banshee and my iptables firewall script called Firetable. I think they are worth checking out.

The improvements of Banshee have been used to improve the Hiawatha Monitor. Another new thing I have in mind for the Hiawatha Monitor is alerts via e-mail when something suspicious is going on on your webserver. But I'm afraid that will require some statistical analysis and I'm not good at math. Lucky for me that my girlfriend is a university graduate at mathematics.
